My last Nexbelt with the ratchet buckle only lasted 3 years before it cracked & needed to be replaced. Now, understand I wore that belt almost every day with jeans or shorts. & carried my pistol & phone on it daily. Seeing I loved the ratcheting buckle so much, I bought their new upgraded heavy duty Titan Black EDC Strap. This belt strap is stiffer than any belt I’ve owned & I love it. My pistol stays put but is easy to get on & off when needed. My old buckle fit the new strap, keeping the cost down. This belt does not have a stiffening center insert (PVC) like my old one to crack & break. Hoping the new design will hold up to my rigorous standards, time will tell but I am pretty confident it will.

I like the belt and buckle but I am on my third belt in 4 years. The reinforcement inside nylon belt always cracks on me directly in the middle of my back. But I keep reordering a new one. Love the belt but not the longevity.
Belt is stiff enough to not deform carrying a sidearm. The infinite adjustment is ideal. The only down side is the stiff material in the construction of the belt has a limited life span and will eventually start cracking due to the aging process of the material as the chemicals that give the materialflexibilitygraduallymigrate to the surface and dissipateinto the atmosphere. For me it was 2.5 to 3 years.
