For quite some time I have been searching for a quality belt that was very strong and inflexible, like an old six-gun belt. That meant it would have to be a lot like the kind of leather my old horse saddle was made off. But that really wasn't feasible to find unless I had it made custom. Belts made of tap grain leather can run you $150. Custom saddlery work is far more. And it would not have gone with my dress clothing anyway. But I still looked. I was especially demanding that it would not curl over and stretch with every day use like all the rest. I wanted something with linear integrity, but most of all with lateral integrity I could count on as a strong foundation with holster and supplemental equipment use. I wanted a belt that would be a stiff foundation that would hold these things like a framework, a flexible steel band around my waist. Something strong and solid so I could count on with my gun, etc., being secure, comfortable and in place for when I need it, instead of hanging and slouching ever further off my hip like a wwII canteen. A solution for that would be enough. But if it could look decent, good enough for regular dress use every day, and not give itself away as a tactical rig, or construction belt, but classy with any dress, just right for concealed carry, then that would be it. And, that's what I've been looking for. Then, a chance meeting: I almost missed it on the shelf at my local gun store. I looked a little closer and was intrigued but skeptical. I noticed the name and checked the Nexbelt website. I looked it up on my phone right there in the aisle. Comparing price, I tried out the belt and the buckle and learned how they ratcheted together. That was awesome. A game changer! This is a belt that adjusts perfectly to you every time! It doesn't matter if you're a half inch bigger or smaller by the week. You get the perfect tightness within an eighth of an inch of comfort, every time. And it slips on so easily! No finding holes! It's unlike any belt I've ever owned. And the stiffness is just like that steel band I was hoping for. It holds my full-size 1911 without a second thought. Now it stays in place where it should be. So do my pants, and anything else I want to carry with this amazing new tool. Heavier or slim, this belt adds to your comfort no matter what you're wearing. It's odd to think that a belt can be a so empowering. But, gun belts have been crucial to the success of every gunfighter and the well dressed alike. But you don't have to be a gun fighter, conceal carry or low handy-capper to use this belt. I am totally happy with my new belt which I wear every day even if I'm not carrying or playing through! It's just a fantastic belt for anybody anytime. And since I do play golf, I still have to sit down and check out their golf belts too! You just have to try it yourself to find out how great they are!
