Mixed Emotions

Ordered the EDC belt based upon recommendations from a couple of members of my church’s security team to which I belong. After viewing the video explaining the “simple” sizing process I set to work. After figuring the length I attempted to cut the belt with scissors(kitchen shears that cut chicken bone). Didn’t happen. I used a razor bladed utility knife to cut the belt. This process took several cuts before the belt was severed. Attaching the buckle was the second step that proved to be difficult. Getting the buckle prawl to penetrate and lock into the belt took some persuasion but I accomplished it. I then tried the belt on. I was pleased with the fit and look. Now I attempted to loosen the buckle and remove the belt. This proved to be a daunting task. Per the video simply pushing the button on the underside of the buckle was not so simple. It is not a button but a very small lever. Pressure has to be applied to the buckle to loosen pressure on the latch then actuate the lever. Once set up the Nexbelt works and looks well. The set up video needs to be revised to provide a more truthful explanation on the sizing and use process.
