Definitely could be wider and more rigid. Once that’s fixed I think it would be the perfect LE belt.
Over the past year, Nexbelt has become my choice for an everyday belt due to its rigidity and racheting system. This is my third and least favorite Nexbelt because the outer surface hooks catch on EVERYTHING (untucked shirts, furniture, car seats, etc). This is a specific purpose belt only for use when wearing an outer belt; not for everyday use.
This is a great belt, it is very rigid and supports my duty belt better than my previous leather inner belt. I did have to go out one notch on the duty belt due to the thickness of the inner belt. No complaints, my back isn’t complaining right now.

No bulkier than my old Velcro closure inner belt and doesn't loosen up during my shift.
