Pretty cool belt
The belt works great!! Got what I paid for. I work in construction and this belt is made very durable.
The belt is the best belt l have ever had. I love it and would recommend it to anyone.
Outstanding design and fit. NexBelt needs to produce a rubberized or soft coated buckle for Mechanics who can’t have their belt buckle scratch a surface.
A traditional belt will go through belt holes that are typically spaced out 1 inch apart from each other. With a ratchet belt, the buckle will lock into place on the teeth of the belt, which are much closer and allow for more flexibility and “in-between” sizes. For example, here are the steps for a Nexbelt Ratchet belt:
Find your pant size
- Add a couple of inches and then cut.
- Insert the strap into the buckle clasp.
Why It Matters for Finding the Perfect Belt
Depending on your gender and even what your dominant hand is, there are set ways belts have and should be worn for years now. Knowing which way to wear a belt can help you determine what kind of belt and buckle is perfect for your needs.
A Ratchet belt is a belt that does not have any belt holes and uses a ratchet system, where the belt will lock into place by using the inside of the buckle. These belts often stay in place by using a latch inside the buckle that will lock onto the teeth of a belt. It also allows you to change your belt's size to a more accurate size than a traditional belt through belt holes.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
I have a hybrid holster with 1.5" belt clips. Would this belt work for me being that it is 1 7/16" or would it be a little narrow for my clips and a bit loose?
Hi Kent - We've had a few customers tell us that is no problem.
I have a 32" waist. If this belt will fit someone with a waist up to 50", how will it not wrap around me all the way to the back? Please explain.
Hi Charlie - our belts are cut to size. The straps are removable from the clasp of the buckle. Please click on link of the video. https://vimeo.com/146124770
What is the smallest waist size this belt will fit? My son would love this belt as he is always having me poke extra holes in his belts to get the sizing just right.
Hi Cassie - if you send your request to my email firstname.lastname@example.org, I can show you a picture of a 2 year old wearing our belt. Or you can go to our instgram account nexbelt and see it. Even though the scaling system stops at the 25" mark, it can go down much further. All you have to do is use a ruler to mark behind it. To make the belt last for your son as he grows older, our suggestion is to cut extra long so the tip of the belt will extend to his hip bone where the other belt loop is. Plan on having him use the last teeth on the red strip away from the tip as the gripping point of the paw on the buckle. This will allow the belt to adjust with his waist as he grows. It will allow at least 6" of growth - which would be a lot years for the average person. And since the face of the strap will look almost brand new... it will still look great after several years.
Is it possible to special order (with increased price if needed) this item in 1.25" width? My previous gunbelt was the Liger in that size and I have my holsters setup in that size as well. I would love for the Nexbelt to be my next belt.
Morning Michael - unfortunately we don't have the strap or the buckle in that width.
I have a 49" pants size will this belt work for me?
Hi Bob - yes it will fit. It actually fits up to a 51 1/2
Do you have a buckle that will pass through a TSA checkpoint?
Hi DMorgan - not one that does not have metal. When I go through the scanner, I just remove the buckle and keep the strap on.
My waist is a 36. If I bought the gun belt that goes all of the way out to 50 inches wouldn't the belt be way to big and look like I wrapping it around. I'm just concerned about all of the extra belt length from 36 to 50. Not sure I asked the question very well. Sorry
Morning Dennis - The belts are cut to size. Click on the link to watch the video. Make sure you use our 20% discount for your first purchase by joining our mailing list.
